Smart City work to begin in Kaiserbagh, Lucknow

A detailed survey of Kaiserbagh will start from Monday in order to transform Lucknow into a Smart City. Over 813 acres of area covered by Kaiserbagh, will have the public toilets, parking areas, and further to this, electricity poles and wires causing inconvenience to the public, will be analyzed and marked by the Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) Officials.

The new Kaiserbagh under the smart city will get 10% of its electricity from solar panels, well-maintained footpaths, green parks and spacious parking zones. Municipal commissioner P K Srivastava said “Not just a Smart City, we are aiming to make Lucknow a green city”.
