Musabagh, a neglected park lying on Lucknow-Hardoi road near Dubagga, has got about 1 crore Rupees for development, to make it a recereational and eco-tourism spot. Massive plantation will be done at 115 hectre Musabagh land to give it a dense forest look. In addition to this, swings, view shades, benches and lighting will be added to make it a recreational spot. Forest department has approved the plan but the agency to sanction the work is yet to be identified. Lucknow has Musabagh and Kukrail forest blocks, where Kukrail is developed as a picnic spot and Musabagh is still in mess. To make it an eco-tourism spot, a boundary wall of about 8.5 km need to be made and existing infrastructures like rest house, children’s park, nursery, water channel and Buddha lawn, need to be renovated and upgraded.
